Monday, October 6 - Sukkot Eve
 
6:31 pm  Candle lighting time
Light a 48 hr yortzeit candle before lighting holiday candles. 
 
6:30pm  Mincha prayers followed by Maariv.
Tuesday, October 7  - Sukkot Day 1
 
10:00 am  Shacharit prayers
Followed by a standup kiddush and crackers in the sukkah, as well as a chance to shake the lulav.
 
6:30 pm  Mincha prayers followed by Maariv prayers.
 
After 7:30 pm  Candle lighting from an existing fire.
Wednesday, October 8 - Sukkot Day 2
 
10:00 am  Shacharit prayers
Followed by a standup kiddush and crackers in the Sukkah, as well as a chance to shake the lulav.
 
6:30 pm  Mincha prayers followed by Maariv prayers.
 
7:28 pm Holiday Ends

 

Simchat Torah Schedule

Monday, October 13 - Shemini Atzeret Eve
 
6:19 pm  Holiday Candle Lighting.
 
6:20pm  Mincha and Maariv prayers.
  Full sit down dinner in the Sukkah
 
8:30pm  Dancing with Torah; Hakafot.
Tuesay, October 14 - Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah
 
10:00 am  Morning Prayer
 
11:00 am  Torah Reading & Yizkor.
 
1:15 pm  Kiddush and crackers in the Sukkah.
 
6:20 pm  Afternoon prayer, followed by evening prayer.
     
 
After 7:18 pm  Candle lighting, from an existing flame.
 
7:30 pm   Buffet dinner in shul followed by dancing, Hakafot with the Torah.
Following Hakofot, we will have a continuation of the yom tov feast.
Wednesay, October 15 - Simchat Torah Day
 
10:30 am  Morning Prayer.
 
11:30 am - 3:30 pm   Full Holiday meal in shul
followed by dancing with Torah and completing and restarting of the Torah, all boys and men receive an aliyah.
  6:20 pm Mincha & Maariv Prayers
 
7:16 pm Holiday Ends
