Friday, September 25 - Sukkot Eve
 
6:51 pm  Candle lighting time
Light a 48 hr yortzeit candle before lighting holiday candles. 
 
6:50pm  Mincha prayers followed by Maariv.
Saturday, September 26  - Sukkot Day 1
 
10:00 am  Shacharit prayers
Followed by a standup kiddush and crackers in the sukkah, as well as a chance to shake the lulav.
 
6:50 pm  Mincha prayers followed by Maariv prayers.
 
After 7:50 pm  Candle lighting from an existing fire.
Sunday, September 27 - Sukkot Day 2
 
10:00 am  Shacharit prayers
Followed by a standup kiddush and crackers in the Sukkah, as well as a chance to shake the lulav.
 
6:50 pm  Mincha prayers followed by Maariv prayers.
 
7:48 pm Holiday Ends

 

Simchat Torah Schedule

Friday, October 2 - Shemini Atzeret Eve
 
6:38 pm  Holiday Candle Lighting.
 
6:40pm  Mincha and Maariv prayers.
 
8:00pm  Community sit-down dinner in the Sukkah
Followed by Dancing with Torah; Hakafot.
Saturday, October 3 - Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah
 
10:00 am  Morning Prayer
 
11:00 am  Torah Reading & Yizkor.
 
1:15 pm  Kiddush and crackers in the Sukkah.
 
6:40 pm  Afternoon prayer, followed by evening prayer.
     
 
After 7:37 pm  Candle lighting, from an existing flame.
 
8:00 pm    Two-Course  Buffet dinner in shul  followed by dancing, Hakafot with the Torah.
Following Hakofot, we will have a continuation of the yom tov feast.
Sunday, October 4 - Simchat Torah Day
 
10:30 am  Morning Prayer.
 
11:30 am - 3:30 pm   Community Kiddush Lunch in shul
followed by dancing with Torah and completing and restarting of the Torah, all boys and men receive an aliyah.
  6:40 pm Mincha & Maariv Prayers
 
7:35 pm Holiday Ends
